Field Technician

We're looking for a self-stater who is eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.  You will be performing construction inspections and materials testing (concrete, soil & asphalt) on large construction projects in Virginia, Maryland and D.C.

No experience or degree necessary.  We provide paid training.  

You must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record, reliable transportation, be able to pass a drug test.

Lab Technician

 Assistant to supervisor of all lab operations and personnel; communication of lab results to the lab manager, PE and clientele; assist in providing oversight of operations and procedures to maintain QA/QC. Also, responsible for performing various lab procedures; particularly specialized testing. Assistant Lab Manager is responsible for maintaining calibration and appropriate lab certifications and inspections with Lab Manager. 

 Qualified candidate must possess extensive laboratory (soils) experience. An in-depth knowledge of proctors, CBR’s, atterberg limits, and soil classifications as designated by ASTM, AASHTO, and VTM. Experience in the concrete lab is required.

Construction Inspector. Will perform building code inspections for residential and commercial projects.


  • Must be certified as either ICC Residential Building or      Reinforced Concrete Inspector, WACEL Foundation, ACI Inspector, or equivalent      with a knowledge of the ACI, IRC, and IBC codes;
  • Previous experience as a soil technician and problem      soils monitoring is preferred;
  • Familiar with Volume Residential Construction, Building Code Inspections, New      Home Construction, Framing, Foundation. 
  • Multi-Trade Certifications is a Plus (Mechanical,      Plumbing, Building and Electrical), but not required.


  • Three years of prior experience in inspection /      construction;
  • Must have valid driver’s license, safe driving record,      and reliable transportation;
  • Ability to communicate clearly to clients and field      personnel;
  • Must be able to negotiate unlevel areas in a      construction environment safely;
